                               RESOLUTION NO. 20700
                 
                 
                  A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR OR
                  ADMINISTRATOR OF THE DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND
                  RECREATION TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH THE
                  STATE OF TENNESSEE, WILDLIFE RESOURCES AGENCY,
                  AND AUTHORIZING ACCEPTANCE OF A GRANT IN THE
                  AMOUNT OF SEVENTY-FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS
                  ($75,000.00), RELATIVE TO THE CONSTRUCTION AND
                  EXPANSION OF AN EXISTING BOAT RAMP, PARKING
                  LOT AND COURTESY DOCK AT RIVERMONT PARK.
                 
                 
                                                    
                 
                 
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That the Mayor or Administrator of the
       Department of Parks and Recreation be and are hereby authorized 
to
       execute a Contract with the State of Tennessee, Wildlife 
Resources
       Agency; and
       	    	 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That there be and is hereby
       authorized the acceptance of a grant in the amount of $75,000.00
       from said Agency relative to the construction and expansion of an 

       existing boat ramp, parking lot and courtesy dock at Rivermont
       Park.
